Earn Graduate or License Renewal Credit at the Conference!

Did you know? If you have a paid registration for our conference, you can add an option for 1 hour grad or license renewal credit! Requirements are: attend all sessions, write a paragraph summary of each session, submit a one-page action plan. The graduate credit is through the University of Sioux Falls at a cost of $150. Central Rivers AEA is offering the license renewal credit for $50.

Requirements:

  • Conference Registration Check/Credit Card payable to: Iowa Reading Association.
  • Full attendance at all six keynote sessions, one of the featured workshops, one of the two luncheon poster sessions and the six concurrent sessions offered throughout the two-day conference. Students will write a paragraph summarizing the content, strategies, or information from each session. The form is provided in the program booklet.
  • In addition, students will write a one–page action plan, related to their teaching setting, describing how they will implement information received at the conference.
  • Students must attend the two collaborative sessions on Tuesday, June 24 at 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 25, at 4:00 p.m. in Room D.
  • Students may submit their session summaries and the one–page action plan on the final day of the conference or mail to: Clark Goltz, P.O. Box 16, Ossian, Iowa, 52161. All session  summaries and the one-page action plan must be postmarked by Friday, June 27, 2025.
