PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Welcome spring? That’s what I was hoping for as I write this, but now I am in a winter storm watch for Wednesday…ugh!

On a bright note, as the days become longer, I know that summer is on the way, which means that the Iowa Reading Association/Iowa Association of School Librarians annual conference is coming up! This special edition newsletter is about Dr. Soh Meacham’s “Literacy Leaders for the Future” conference. Dr. Meacham has an exciting lineup this year…sign up by April 25 to get the “early bird” rate.

One thing to remember is that we are moving from Ames to Cedar Falls! Come check out our new venue!

I can’t wait to see all of our Literacy Leaders at the conference in June!
